The story of Chanukah invites thoughts about

through rebellion, faith, and miracles. This workshop hopes to uncover these
stories. To register,

frustration. This interactive workshop can help you learn new ways of
dealing with difficult situations you encounter in the workplace and
everywhere in your life. Participants will:

DESCRIPTION:
Stories
passed from one generation to the next carry the values, culture, and unique
mythology of that family. Knowing our family stories strengthens identities
and feelings of belonging - both our own and those of our children and
grandchildren. If you would like to revive, collect, and write the family
stories that are now buried in your memory, then this workshop is for you.
Together with workshop leader, Lil Blume, you will find and write precious
family stories. Those who have already begun a family story project are
also welcome. Come prepared to do some writing and sharing. Registration
is limited to 18 participants.

TESTIMONIALS
“The ability to communicate effectively is especially
important in my role as an elected official, and I have Lil Blume to thank.
Her communications course has taught me important lessons on how to listen
with empathy and communicate non-defensively – skills that are essential
whether I am in a boardroom debate, being interviewed by the media, or on
the phone with a constituent. Lil is a dynamic and energetic teacher
who delivers with passion."
